E-COMMERCE PRODUCT PHOTOGRAPHY SERVICES
At Flat Fold Photography, we believe that product photography is a largely overlooked part to selling a garment. Frankly it’s the final hurdle when making and selling a piece, and sometimes it’s the first time a customer even sees the product – so ultimately it’s something of huge importance.
We provide E-Commerce product photography for clients such as @houseoferrors, @protect.ldn, @osbatt, and @upinflames, as well as many other top brands.
Majority of our clients opt for the flat fold product photography style, which provides a clean and crisp look for the images shot on a white background to enhance the products. Each product photography batch includes 4 images in total – front, back, and two close ups.
We also provide a located style, which as the name implies, has the products shot at a select location fit to the style of the brand.
HOW IT WORKS
Once a client has enquired about our services, and the number of products being shot is confirmed, we’ll book the client a day/multiple dates into our schedule, depending on how many items they need shot. How soon of a date the client will be booked in for depends entirely on how busy our schedule is – typically we’re able to book the client in for the following week, if not the week after.
Once they’re booked in, the next step is for the client to either drop the items off at our office, or deliver them to us – the latter being most common. Clients must get the garments to us at least the evening before shooting, to allow time for steaming and other preparation. Finally, before shooting we confirm the exact shape/style that the client is wanting from our product shots, to avoid any confusion down the line.
Then once this is done, the photos are sent over to the customer, and the clothes are either returned, or picked up. Then conclusively the customer is invoiced (delivery costs are not covered by us).
